In making a trip to East Hampton to photograph the Reginald F. Lewis Beach Glamour Event, I realized that most people, including myself, don't know who Reginald F. Lewis is. So doing a little reasearch, I decided to solve this problem.
Reginald F. Lewis was born in Baltimore, Maryland to middle class parents on December 7th 1942. In 1965, he graduated from Virginia State University with a degree in ecomomics, then graduated from Harvard Law School in 1968. He was the the first African American to build a billion dollar company, and was named on the Forbes 400 richest Americans list in 1992, with a net worth of 400 million dollars.
The event was to raise money for the Reginald F. Lewis Foundation, and as you can see the property was amazing! Attire was limited to white and aqua, which really put it over the top for me.
